Earthquake strengthening is rarely affordable nor pretty, yet St Hilda’s in Wellington, New Zealand has faced these challenges and come out glowing.
A New Zealand National Architectural award winner, the new facade is described as “a golden tessellating veil, adorned with a pattern that represents the history, future, people, and essence of the place and the church”.
