Mark Henderwood – Priest in Charge<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Leads the team part-time at St Hilda\u2019s as Priest in Charge. Background of music, nursing, education and clinical tech. Also works in Chaplaincy at Massey and in various DHBs. Mark believes a healthy local suburban church is an essential part of building good community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Michael Hartfield – Priest Assistant<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

National Director of Anglican Missions and previously with MFAT, Michael loves Island Bay, living here with family for almost 25 years. Michael runs an underground music venue, loves retro Triumph cars and enjoys all forms of nature, but especially the family garden. A big fan of U2 and the Phoenix FC, Michael thrives on participating in local life around the church and Bay<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Athena Richmond – Bishop\u2019s Warden<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I have my roots in South Africa, came via the UK. I came to New Zealand in 2017 and can say this is one of the best moves I have made; Wellington is home to me now. I have worked as a social worker in many contexts. I love being part of a diverse and committed team at St Hilda’s where we all have different strengths. The warmth and hospitality at our church drew me in and I have continued to grow in faith ever since. I have a special interest in development and creativity and have had plenty of support and opportunity to put this into practice. I am proud to be part of a faith community that strives to respond to Jesus’ call to “Love one another. In the same way I loved you, you love one another.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
